We Still Kill The Old Way Blu-ray 1967 Radiance Elio Petri To Each His Own
An unconventional, award-winning mafia thriller!
Introducing Radiance Film's Limited Edition Blu-ray (Region B) for We Still Kill the Old Way, a 1967 crime-thriller from director Elio Petri (Todo modo, Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion). Based on the novel by Leonardo Sciascia (The Day of the Owl), We Still Kill the Old Way is a tense paranoid thriller that features Gian Maria Volonté (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More) in one of his finest performances.
After two men are killed on a hunting trip, a lonely professor (Gian Maria Volonté, The Working Class Goes to Heaven), takes it upon himself to investigate what he believes was not a simple honour killing. As his search intensifies, politics and the Church become implicated in a complex conspiracy orchestrated by a powerful criminal organisation.
We Still Kill the Old Way features a superb score by Luis Bacalov (Django), and is a Winner of awards for Best Screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival and Best Actor at the Italian Golden Globes.
