New 4K remaster of both the Theatrical and UNCUT International version!
Introducing 88 Films' 2-Disc 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray (Region B) release for 1982's Swamp Thing. Exploitation master Wes Craven wasn’t the obvious choice to bring DC Comics’ environmentally challenging creature to life for his cinematic debut in 1982, but he did so with heart and a love for the source material.
Science transformed him into a monster. Love changed him even more! A research scientist is transformed into a hideous creature after he’s exposed to a life-changing biochemical created by a deranged, evil scientist.
With a cast which includes Dick Durock, Louis Jourdan and Adrienne Barbeau, this is how you bring comic-book characters to life, packing each frame with memorable dialogue and unforgettable effects. Fans of the Friday the 13th franchise should pay particular attention to the score as its composed by the legendary Harry Manfredini.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This set contains 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray (Region Free) and Blu-ray (Region B) Discs. An all-region Blu-ray player is required to read Region B Discs. Standard U.S. Blu-ray players will NOT read Region B Discs. Looking for all-region players? We got your covered!
