Underrated 80's slasher about a crazed embalmer played by Bill Paxton!

Introducing 88 Films' Blu-ray (Region B) for 1982's Mortuary (aka Embalmed). This twisted tale from director Howard Avedis (Texas Detour) is a prime slasher which arrived at the end of the stalk n’ slash craze and added a touch of giallo and devil worship to the mix.

Christie (Mary Beth McDonough) is convinced her father’s death wasn’t an accident and tries to unlock the truth. Her trail of clues leads to the local mortuary where she uncovers ghastly horrors beyond her imagination.

Probably best known for starring Bill Paxton as an embalmer who is a bit of a social misfit with an unhealthy, lifelong crush on Christie. Mortuary contains plenty of juicy set-pieces and bloodletting for fans of the genre to enjoy.
