From three hundred million miles away… invaders from Mars!
Introducing BFI's 4K Ultra HD (Region Free) Limited Edition release for 1953's Invaders from Mars. A landmark in sci-fi cinema, Invaders from Mars inspired filmmakers as wide ranging as Don Coscarelli (Phantasm), Brad Bird (The Iron Giant) and John Carpenter (The Thing) and is now available fully restored!
In the dark of a stormy night, young boy David MacLean (Jimmy Hunt) witnesses a flying saucer land in a sandpit in his small, American town. It's not long before the adults, including his very own parents, appear... changed. Desperate for help, David enlists physician Dr. Pat Blake (Helena Carter) and local astronomer Dr. Stuart Kelston (Arthur Franz), to try and stop the invasion of the green, brainwashing monsters.
