Also known as Libido: The Urge to Love, I Am a Nymphomaniac (or Je Suis Un Nymphomane) follows a simple plot; a young, beautiful woman, Carole (Sandra Julien) accidentally falls down a flight of stairs and when she awakes, she discovers her life has been irrevocably changed, you see, she’s now a nymphomaniac!

Praised for its highly charged sexy sequences and subtle references to female sexual freedom, it challenges the norm by examining Carole’s quest to be sexually satisfied whilst dodging those who want to take advantage of her newfound but ultimately innocent lust.
