A true gem from Brian De Palma and Robert De Niro that was way ahead of its time!
Introducing Radiance Films' 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray (Region B) for 1970's Hi, Mom! Making its world premiere on 4K UHD, Hi, Mom! is a vital work of the early New Hollywood, and a key work in the career of master director Brian De Palma (Scarface).
Aspiring adult film-maker Jon Rubin (Robert De Niro, Taxi Driver) returns from a tour of Vietnam and, armed with his film camera, attempts to find meaning and inspiration in the counter-culture of New York in 1970. Rubin graduates from surreptitiously filming his neighbours, to joining a militant Black experimental theatre group, before flirting with full-scale domestic terrorism in this hilariously madcap satire that has still retained its outrageous power to shock, fifty years after initially stunning American audiences.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This set contains 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray (Region Free) and Blu-ray (Region B) Discs. An all-region Blu-ray player is required to read Region B Discs. Standard U.S. Blu-ray players will NOT read Region B Discs. Looking for all-region players? We got your covered!
